GearMotive Sequential transmission for many racing purposes

GearMotive ZF Sequential Dogbox transmission is based on our well-known H-pattern dogbox gearset. Our sequential transmission uses same type of gears and shafts, which have proven to work on various racing classes and being very famous product specially in Rally, Circuit and Drifting. The gearset is proven to work on over 1100Nm power in Drifting and Drag racing.

Now the gearset is combined with Sequential shifting mechanisms and housing providing even faster and more flawless gear changes. BMW ZF bell housing is mated with our custom manufactured rear housing, which measures to same dimensions than ZF stock rear housing. GearMotive ZF Sequential can be bolt-on to replace original BMW ZF S5D transmission. A sequential shifter is installed into the stock shifter position and is very easy installation.

GearMotive Sequential shifter is self-centering, very sleak black design, made from high-quality aluminium material. The shifter has integrated shifcut sensors, providing an option to use flat shifting.

A Gear Display is made from a multi-color touch screen display. The display shows the gear position and allows configuring various options, such as shift cut sensitivity.

GearMotive Sequential Electronic Control Module (ECM) is a separate box having ready-made wiring kit. The wiring kit is installed to the shifter, gear position sensor, gear display, power source and possibly to an aftermarket ECU for shift cut and gear position info. The ECM will be able to control shift cut even for car’s with stock ECU (future option).

For high power vehicles (over 500hp), we offer a heavy-duty HD input shaft option.

Electric kit comes with: a touch screen display, ECM (Electric Control Module) and wiring kit.

ZF Sequential dogbox requires ZF S5D model bell housing to fit it into the engine. ZF Sequential is designed in a such way that bell housing is a part of the gearbox and oil space. This has allowed us to make the gearbox so small and is a bolt on to replace S5D stock box or existing GearMotive ZF dogboxes.

  • ZF Sequential can be mated with any ZF S5D bellhousing. Suitable bell housing models are (Number in bell housing):
