GearMotive ZF Sequential Dogbox – A Versatile Transmission for Motorsport

GearMotive’s new ZF Sequential Dogbox transmission is based on our well-known H-pattern dogbox gearset. This transmission uses the same high-quality gears and shafts that have proven themselves in various motorsport classes, especially in rally, circuit racing, and drifting. The gearset has been tested to handle up to 1100 Nm of torque in drifting and drag racing.

Now, we have combined this gearset with a sequential shifting mechanism, providing even faster and smoother gear changes. The transmission is fully compatible with the BMW ZF S5D bell housing and comes with a custom-manufactured rear housing that matches the dimensions of the original ZF rear housing. This means that the GearMotive ZF Sequential can be installed directly to replace the original BMW ZF S5D transmission without any modifications: the clutch, mounts and driveshaft do not require any adjustments.

• Ratio Set 2: Tailored for Drift, Drag, and Rallycross applications, with a longish 1st gear and a larger drop between the higher gears:
